Cancellation and Refund Policy
You can request cancellation from your booking page. Your refund depends on when you cancel, whether work has started, and the terms shown at checkout.
01 — Cancellation Tiers
48+ hours before appointment
Full refundCancel at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment and receive a full refund to your original payment method.
24 to 48 hours before appointment
50% refundCancel between 24 and 48 hours before the appointment. Half the booking fee is refunded.
Less than 24 hours before appointment
No refundCancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment are non-refundable. The contractor may already be allocated and en route.
02 — When We Cancel
If Check-a-Property cancels or is unable to fulfil a booking, a full refund will be issued regardless of timing. We will notify you as soon as possible and offer to rebook the service at a time that suits you.
03 — Refund Processing
All approved refunds are processed within 5 to 7 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. If the original payment method is unavailable, we will coordinate an alternative refund method. For any refund-related queries, contact us at support@checkaproperty.co.uk.
04 — How to Cancel
You can request cancellation from your booking page in the dashboard. Alternatively, contact us by email or phone and we will process the cancellation for you. The refund amount depends on when you cancel relative to the scheduled appointment time.
